  • I think they're talking about "Here We Go"

  • Did you contribute to OSM to make the maps better for you and everyone else?

My area had nothing a couple of years ago. But I started contributing every week or so and it's filled out nicely, and some other people started doing the same. It's more accurate than Google Maps in my area now.

  • Molly is on fdroid I believe

  • Check out Kitsap!

  • I love micromapping, it's strangely relaxing.

  • Yep, deflock is basically just a view for OSM. They have a guide on how to submit without their app here, which utilizes OSM: https://deflock.org/report/id

  • I don't think that they've used enough buzzwords.

  • Forgejo is fantastic, better than anything else that I've used.

  • It seems like it'll be included, it's affecting all services storing government and healthcare data. Of course, it doesn't affect private companies so Salesforce will still probably be used elsewhere. Just not in government. The same can be said about other SaaS companies like Cloudflare, Atlassian, and ServiceNow.

  • I'd argue that the students know this, and is part of the reason they're booing. LLMs have given execs the excuse they needed to cut headcount which has caused the job market toxicity. Of course, LLMs are not ready to replace almost anyone except for those executives.

  • Fuck AI @lemmy.world

I love this, they are so deep in their own bubble

  • It's a hardware issue. No other phones had the security features required. This is why they partnered with Motorola, to get away from Google hardware..

  • Yep. I have a lifetime sub to Plex anyway, and I don't want to deal with the pain of giving my in-laws access

  • Live a little and do a mix of both

  • But I told Claude to make no mistakes and ensure that it's secure!

  • Their search was already trash, this will only make it worse

  • I'm not sure if it was just a thing where I grew up, but I miss being able to buy concert tickets at the grocery store service desk.

  • Sure, it probably can, but it's unlikely to cause any sort of epidemic because you need the intimate contact. It's not like covid where it easily transmits through the air.

  • It only spreads from person to person rarely, and only when you're in very close quarters for a long period of time. It's so rare that it's been debated if it's even actually spreading from human to human or just through being in the same contaminated setting.

  • They just want to be right, that's all it comes down to. They do this a lot around here, they simply refuse to consider anything but their own opinion, so when someone challenges that, they lose their mind and thus their reading comprehension. They also love to twist your words to make it seem like you're the one that doesn't understand (as they've done to several people, including myself, in this thread).
