  • Past few months? I’ve tried several instances since over a year ago and absolutely never did I get decent results, unfortunately. They always get rate limited by Google and/or some other error occurs.

  • I agree that USB 2.0 isn’t acceptable anymore, but it is what most phones are shipping, even at the highest end. I can see it being difficult for Fairphone to include faster ports, especially when most consumers don’t care too much about it. Are you using a phone with USB 3.0??

  • what?

  • It allows for a lot of cool accessories such as battery packs. No user swappable batteries so that’s the next best thing

  • I personally prefer the Mullvad client since, at least on MacOS, it allows you to exclude specific apps from the VPN, while the ProtonVPN client does not! I still use ProtonVPN instead though, since it's also significantly cheaper for me.

  • Switch to gaming on Windows? Windows sucks compared to Linux, but for people who don’t wanna leave the ecosystem, Windows should be quite compatible with most Xbox games and multiplayer. Also it’s absurdly easy to pirate games on using a .site like fitgirl-repacks

  • It’s only worth it if you want to support Mozilla imo. If you don’t care about Mozilla, get Mullvad instead

  • Not using plastic could hurt their profits :(

  • Is it known that everything from China is see see pee propaganda

  • Revolut is a data mining company that demands you use Google's services or an iPhone to use.

  • It's sad that this gets downvoted to hell. As a MacOS user who appreciates beautiful UI, this is a major pain point for me on Linux. And yes, Windows is the absolute worst at this.

  • Not relevant to this thread. However, I didn't know what a cyberdeck was and there are indeed some very cool-looking ones. :)
