  • Spartans were way better trained as being royalty who should have been exclusively occupied with warfare in addition to their own propaganda that they were invaders and that the helots would betray them first time they could.

    Practicing on live helots, being barred from politics until you were old enough and the puritanism all played into making them the most formidable.

    I think that despite spartan losses, they almost always had the edge in the training and morale for the average citizen.

    Sparta feels like if the Navy seals lead a state. The Shogunate feels more like a long lived junta with feudalism.

    Change happens at the second when you are 100% sure you are going to engage and they back down in the last second, completing the transaction.

    Why are there no changes in todays society? Because people are complacent and are disincentivised from thinking ahead, long term.

    Peaceful ginormous protests leak a lot of energy to act on long term plans. They also alert authorities way ahead of time. After that they are easy to control. Protesters set aim to be peaceful. Even though violence can increase, it will be a different curve due to the orderliness, giving room for the entity to wiggle out of a badly made decision before it is too late and try again tomorrow.

    Not in a "single person did this" way but like I eventually get ousted from all circles when I let myself go. Since it went haywire way back in childhood and I am past the age where I can actually get to know people really well easily, I am kind of locked in to this state.

    Since I am very distraught about coming after people (and these disgusting toughts poisoning my mind nor it helps at all) Im mainly considering suicide. That is something only I can do for myself. A gift.

  • I didnt say I mounted I "plopped" it on top. It is only attached to not fall off, but it moves. And there is a huge ass hole beside it so the tubes have room to get into the case. Welp, too lazy to get a new case for now so that is how it is going to be.

    Since his father is in the "Swedish Peoples Party", I will assume Finns casually use Swedish as a denomination for people who live in Finland but speak Swedish. I think he also talked about speaking Swedish at his home with his family.
