  • Seems a bit excessive.

  • Yeah I’ve noticed some issues lately with lemmy.world. I assume it has to do the quick growth from the great Reddit migration.

  • I think I spend almost as much time modding games like Fallout and Skyrim as I do playing them, so I'm definitely really excited to see what mods come out for Starfield in the next few years. I have a feeling its going to be insane.

  • I’m impressed with how far along Memmy and Mlem have come in the last 2-3 weeks.

  • Great update! The subscribed community page and profile pages look great now!

    Thank you!

  • Still one of my favorite games. It’s top tier in the fallout series for me.

  • The Memmy dev has been crushing it with one update a day while balancing bug fixes & quality of life updates. I have no idea when that dev sleeps or takes a break.

Mlem seems to be taking the approach of doing less frequent updates with more content. The last Mlem release had some good updates in there, so I’m glad to see the swap in lead dev didn’t distract them too much.

  • I have those four as well! I’m bouncing between Mlem and Memmy, both of which are impressive, especially given that they’re still under heavy development. I need to spend more time using liftoff and thunder.

  • I really want nothing to do with Facebook / meta.

  • I’m excited for TESVI but sad we likely won’t see FO5 until the 2030s.

  • Yeah I read about the Beehaw decision so I wasn’t sure if that impacted subscribing to communities in their instance as well. I didn’t think much of it till I had issues subscribing to Lemmy.ml and even communities in Lemmy.world.

Sounds good, appreciate the info. I’ll hold tight and see if 0.18 update fixes the issue.

  • The Memmy developer seems to be releasing about one update a day with lots of bug squashes and quality of life updates. Mlem just pushed a new update and it had a good amount of updates as well. Seems like the developers may have different approaches (quick releases vs larger / slower releases).

Either way it’s exciting how much better both apps have gotten in such a short period of time.

  • Starfield. I don’t typically have a lot of time to game but Bethesda games (ES and Fallout) are among my favorite. After watching starfield direct, I’m hyped.

  • Thanks! I’ll keep an eye in it, the more Lemmy apps the better right now. Needing to side load onto iPhone through AltStore is an interesting choice. I wonder how that will impact user adoption.

  • Bonded leather is less than 20% real leather and made from scraps and fibers of genuine leather combined with binders. It’s generally not as durable as genuine leather.
