When I lost my job even with a generous exit package we cut expenses to the bone just in case. I accepted the offer right before Fan Expo (comic con) this weekend so we're splurging a bit to celebrate!

Without a doubt! When looking for work maybe a fifth to a quarter of companies I looked at had increased their wages to compensate / compete. The rest pretty much what they were pre COVID.

It's some of the best advice I've ever received! I hope it treats you as well as it treats me.

My last interview was a panel with the CEO, CPO, COO and a few VPs. I closed and the look on the CEOs face was gold. Let me translate in text "OMFG Hire this man right now!"
