running a jellyfin server on something like this may not be pleasant, so it depends on what you are trying to do with this machine.
for most things, yeah - it will be fine; however, if you are planning to do live transcoding, running an llm, or other compute-heavy tasks, the box will need to be upgraded.
(i am old) both my brother and i were number 00 in our younger hockey years. we were goalies, so we got first pick of numbers on all new teams we played on, heheheh.
so a person in a vehicle that is less dangerous than a car, who was going the speed of traffic on side streets, was arrested.
the police state that this was "oviously dangerous". to whom? i doubt he would be able to injure anyone in that thing any more than the full-size cars driving next to him.
i mainly bike and am in america (its shitty). i search on GM for a company, grab the address, plug it in to OSMand, and use the bike routing - its extremely good.
there are options in OSMand where you can "prefer biways" - use it... its great. every time there is a bad, unsafe, or non-existant crossing, you can tap-hold -> avoid road and it will only avoid that tiny block you selected. sooooooooo good.
im biking ~7mi one-way this evening (do it once weekly; its a bit longer than my usual rides of <3mi), but all of the roads i hate are already avoided, and i only have to take a little bit of unpaved rocky shit "sidewalk" path to get there (a super busy freeway overpass; im not riding in the street)
owning a hammer is not a crime, bashing in a car window with it is.
also, it is currently illegal for car owners to put custom firmware in their cars & there is no open standard to allow 3rd party software. all stolen cars should be refunded by the manufacturer for forcing us to use their shitty soft/firmware.
i really want them to do more linux-specific content (almost 100% of their platform content is windows). i hope this leads at least one person with some script-writing chops to write more linix content : D
though nowadays i usually research heavily and fix hardware problems more often, i have reinstalled linux many times due to weird issues i did not understand many times. its okay, it happens to us all <3
i think it is wonderful that it is used by both the tinkerer and the normal user.
i am on linux because i enjoy learning and tinkering. my wife is on linux because of MSRecall - she just wants a computer. both if us have very different reasons to use it, and love it for very different reasons.
she loves that plugging anything in automatically "just works" - probably the thing she has fallen in love with the most. she doesnt have to worry if drivers only work with win95, no sketchy website downloads, etc..
