I'm not saying Iran doesn't have problems or that its population isn't suffering under the attacks, but... Does OP think Iran lacks engineers, bureaucrats, and economists? Iranian leadership is vastly more impressive than the goons we sent to negotiate with them.
Iran's position is also quite strong for the moment. Its population is not upset with the government but with the Epstein Coalition. Iran maintains a massive arsenal of drones and missiles, and shows no fear in escalating. And oh, that little Strait of Hormuz may soon be augmented by Houthis closing of Bab al-Mandeb
The Epstein Coalition position, by contrast, is weak and failing. All US bases in the region are basically destroyed. They gave no way to get men into Iran. They have lost expensive military hardware. Zionist Entity is paying the price for US aggression and its population will suffer from further escalation. The economic fallout for Epstein Coalition is going to be severe and I'm genuinely terrified of what's coming.
Given their strong position, why shouldn't Iran demand frozen assets be returned?
