  • Since there are so many different components it can vary wildly. My in-car lessons are 85 EUR for 80 minutes. A friend of mine goes to a fahrschule where it's 120 EUR for the same amount of time.

Then there is paying every time you need to redo the test, and every extra in car lesson you need.

  • Yakuza Kiwami right now (although I haven't picked it up in a while).

  • Do you mean Palahniuk? Bukowski didn't write Fight Club

  • If I were to get an iPhone, the primary reason would be for longevity. The update support has just been so hard to find on Android. Let's see now that Google and Samsung are pledging more than 2 OS updates, but their commitment remains to be seen.

  • I hope to know how that feels one day.

  • That's also what I'm waiting for before I upgrade. The FPS on my P6P leaves so much to be desired.

  • It feels like the days of 5EUR döner are in the past now. I see for 7 or 8 EUR sometimes.

  • I do get a craving for McDonalds fries that I give into probably once or twice per year. Usually I'll get a Big Mac combo, or a couple McMenu sandwiches. The other surprising factor aside from the absurd price is how mediocre the flavour has gotten. While it was never culinary art, it somehow tastes even less like food than I remember just years ago.

    I'm disappointed every time.

  • The same package in Germany is 500g, so maybe there is an element of shrinkflation as well.

  • This is getting to be a better and better option with Google and Samsung promising more than 3yrs of OS updates.

  • I was trying to use a mandolin to remove the wax from a section of Gouda cheese, and slipped. Chopped off about 3mm of my thumb and about 5mm of thumbnail.

  • Ah thank you for pointing that out -- I saw it first thing in the morning on my phone and completely misread it.

  • I don't think the first one is completed -- the story hasn't yet reached it's conclusion, which some seem to be disappointed at seeing them moving onto a sequel already (if that ends up being the case). On top of that, there is also DLC, which rubs some wrong for the same reason.

  • Really annoying they didn't mention the first and second games.

  • It's hard to get excited for this game given how much hell it seems to have been through. I'll keep following the development, but cautiously to say the least.

  • I also enjoyed my playthrough of the game, and am looking forward to what Bethesda does. I've gotten my money's worth, but I'm hoping they manage to do much more with the game than what's currently available (but it's fine if they don't as well).

I also think that a lot of the criticisms are completely valid -- Personally the missions and story were enjoyable enough for me, and the systems were neat to explore, but 8 years on from FO4, and a generation later and the game still suffers from the same engine limitations, further exacerbated by the scope they decided to reach for.

  • I'm playing through MGS2 right now for pretty much the first time (I did try it on Xbox, but didn't make it past the first boss encounter with Olga). I played through MGS the last few weeks, and it's always interesting to me to see a series develop over generations.

I have been playing some Crysis 3 as well since I never finished it. It's enjoyable enough, and I love the nature-taken metropolis setting (also loved it in Crysis 2, and in TLoU 1+2).

Ground Branch is another one that I've been firing up regularly to play a round of Terrorist Hunt. There is a beta out right now with new AI mechanics, which is breathing some new life into it. I backed the game years ago (2017), and watching the development has been fun (if a bit slow).

Last one for me is Enshrouded -- I'm less than 2hrs into it and still deciding if I'll keep it. I'm itching for a new survival game, and so I'm hoping to try the Nightingale playtest this weekend, and then decide which one to commit to.

  • From what I've read, parts of it were repurposed into COD:Ghosts, which released following (and is generally considered to be one of the worst main enteries in the series).

  • I mean them adding it to other games retroactively is enough to justify not giving them anymore money. Really disappointed in them personally.
