Turns out that saturated fat isn't the big awful thing that has been peddled for decades. What turns out to be better for you is shorter chain saturated fats produced by a health gut microbiome, and that feeding your microbiome is essential to better health. Also, not all calories are equal. It turns out items higher in resistant starch feeds a healthy microbiome and in turn those bacteria convert the food calories into short chain saturated fats which feed you. It took six months of adjusting medication to get to a dosage and medication that worked. Although, my doctor said that the amphetamine class of drugs were the only ones that really work; be it Adderall or Ritalin class of drugs. I was unable to take adderall and Ritalin has been near impossible to get, but vyvanse works great once I got on a high enough dosage. 60mg once daily. It’s about 2.5 hours from swallowing to full affect in me.
