Update - apparently some people do not understand the post.
Overall
- Seems like AMD are shipping great HW to HPCs and letting them deal with it AMD dropped ROCm for Polaris/Vega 10 while not having it for any reasonably buyable GPUs...
- ARM is used in eg igpus for graphics etc and this is about the dropping support and the lack of software support
- Linus Torvalds comments reigns supreme, this is the posted link with only one of the comments, there is an entire discussion going on.
