In 2012, a state trooper in Fairbanks, Alaska, said that Kenneth J. Jouppi knowingly tried to fly into a dry community with a six-pack on board.

The Alaska Supreme Court ruled that Kenneth J. Jouppi could be forced to forfeit his plane as a penalty after trying to fly alcohol into a dry Alaskan community.
